President & Chair
Craig Thompson is an accomplished writer, director, producer who leads a team of creative professionals at Stratford-based Ballinran Entertainment. With more than 25 years in the film and television production industry, Craig brings his Canadian and international experience close to home to help develop the industry in Southwestern Ontario and to inspire the next generation of content creators. His passion for sharing stories has taken him to the front lines of conflict, given him a vantage point on the world’s most incredible locations and allowed him to meet and interact with the most notable personalities of our time.
Treasurer
Stephen has over 25 years of experience in the film and television industry as a Producer, Director of Production, Director of Business Affairs. He produced the award-winning documentaries Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band, Buffy Sainte-Marie: Carry It On, the Emmy-nominated Toxic Beauty and YTV kids documentary Citizen Kid, for White Pine Pictures. As a Windsor, Ontario native and lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, Stephen understands loyalty and what it’s like to root for the underdog.
Secretary
Andrew’s career spans across film development, post production, and most recently the Director of Quality Management for Content Distribution at the Walt Disney Company. He is currently leveraging his 25 years of experience into consulting and producing projects under the banner Swan Parade Media based in Stratford, Ontario, and is contracted with the content operations team at Crunchyroll. He loves supporting his fellow creatives to see their vision come to life.
